The 1XXX series aluminum alloys, obtained by adding a small amount of copper to pure aluminum, exhibit excellent formability, high corrosion resistance, good weldability, and superior electrical conductivity. These alloys are widely used in applications with low strength requirements, including chemical equipment, sheet processing parts, deep-drawn or spun components, welded structures, heat exchangers, dials and panels, nameplates, kitchen utensils, decorative articles, and reflective appliances.
